I have intentionally been creating art for about six years now. It started with a few drawings of Spirit Animals that I then began embroidering, painting, and carving. It has taken me these six years to finally feel confident enough to share in my creations. The process has been slow-growing for me - with some pieces taking years to finish due to lack of confidence. I often discover pieces hidden away in my art room that I once thought were pointless and unworthy, but now I look at them with potential and beholden beauty.
I try creating with an open curiosity, though at times I do still fall prey to uncertainty and doubt. Still, I continue to explore with hopefulness and wonder. If my younger Self could see what I create now, they would feel inspired. And I am most certainly inspired by my younger Self, for without them I would not be the creator I am today.
I am grateful that I have not given up on my art and I am eager to continue exploring and waking to the dreams that I hold within my Self. I hope those who also feel such inner stirrings continue to do the same for their own truest Selves.
Let’s be waking dreamers together :)
